Dr Jamie Ng

Division Head, Advanced and Sustainable Manufacturing, A*STAR Institute for Infocomm Research

Dr Jamie Ng is a Senior Principal Scientist and Division Head at A*STAR's Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), where she leads research in AI, robotics, computer vision, and human-AI interaction for applications in manufacturing, aerospace, and sustainability. She helms the Smart Automated Aircraft Visual Inspection System (SAAVIS) and has advanced AI-driven inspection systems since 2016. A Ph.D. holder in Human Factors Engineering from NTU, Dr Ng has served on advisory and programme committees including at SUSS and ACM SIGCHI, and her work has earned her multiple awards such as the Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors' Award and IES Prestigious Engineering Award 2023.

Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow, Appleton Institute School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences, CQUniversity

Associate Professor Grace Vincent is a leading expert in sleep and shiftwork health at CQUniversity's Appleton Institute, with over 15 years of research experience supporting emergency services. She leads the Healthy Shiftwork Project, providing evidence-based strategies to improve wellbeing for 24/7 workforces. Her work has shaped national and international policy, with over 120 publications and $4 million in research funding.

AC Chew Keng Tok

Director Training & Professional Development Department, Singapore Civil Defence Force

AC Chew Keng Tok is Director of the Training and Professional Development Department (TPD), where he oversees SCDF's training policies, doctrine development, and professional development plans. Prior to this, he served as Commander of the 2nd SCDF Division, leading frontline operations and overseeing overseas deployments as USAR Team Leader of SGP01. With over 22 years of service, AC Chew has held key leadership roles including Commander of the elite DART Unit, Central Fire Station, and Head of Specialist Training Centre. An Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) specialist and UNDAC coordinator, he has led and participated in numerous high-profile missions and capacity-building efforts across the region, including deployments to Jogjakarta (2006) and Turkiye (2023).

Professor Nick Sevdalis

Academic Director, Centre for Behavioural and Implementation Science Interventions, Yong Look Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore

Professor Nick Sevdalis is a Professor of Implementation Science and Patient Safety at King's College London and Visiting Professor at NUS' Behavioural and Implementation Sciences Institute. Trained in psychology and behavioual decision science (PhD, UCL), he has head academic appointments at Imperial College London and leads the Centre for Implementation Science. His research applies behavioural sciences to improve healthcare delivery and has produced over 370 publications and 120 invited lectures. Professor Sevdalis serves on several international expert panels, including WHO's BEsD group, and has held editorial and advisory roles in leading scientific organisations.

Mr Tong Shao Chuen

Assistant Director, Centre for Behavioural and Implementation Science Interventions, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore

An experienced researcher and administrator in different areas of Singapore healthcare, Shao Chuen's main research interest include implementing evidence-based decision-making practices in the different healthcare settings; evaluating and improving the adoption of new health technologies and healthcare programme planning and evaluation. He has also taught courses in grantsmanship, programme evaluation; health services research and health technology assessment.

Professor Shona Halson

Deputy Director of SPRINT Research Centre Australian Catholic University

Professor Shona Halson was the Head Recovery Physiologist at the Australian Institute of Sport for over 15 years, prior to her current appointment. Shona has led the Recovery team at three Olympic campaigns with the Australian Olympic Committee. Her research focuses on sleep, recovery and fatigue and she has published over 200-peer reviewed articles and multiple book chapters. She provides advisory services to the Australian Open Tennis Tournament, FIFA and Nike as well as several national and international professional sporting teams.

Dr Bianca Slocombe is a psychologist and behavioural scientist at Coventry University's Protective Security Lab. An Aspen Rising Leaders Fellow, she applies her expertise to security-focused, impact-driven research in partnership with government stakeholders. Her work spans insider risk, the safety of elected officials, terrorist decision-making, and strategies for negotiation and de-escalation in complex scenarios.
